Disliked: We did not appreciate seeing the American flag flying beside Canadian, BC and British flags. Given the current US attacks against Canada, we consider the Stars and Stripes flying beside our flag to be remarkably tone deaf.

Relaxing getaway

Liked: Oceanview both in room and restaurant. Comfortable chairs to sit in, both room and lobby. Hearty breakfasts. Great location.
Disliked: 26.00 Daily rate for car parking. Bed was too firm. The hotel provided a thin, well-used quilted topper, which was only a minimal improvement. Suggest hotel purchase new toppers.

Fun family getaway

Liked: It was really nice. The staff were all very friendly. Cade and Aura restaurant were both great!
Disliked: I wish they had more rooms with queen beds for our family. And it was a little far from DT.

Exceptional

Nice place but not good...

Liked: Nice unit, but we had to pay extra. Excellent service and room service dinner was great.
Disliked: For 'dog friendly' booking, nice balconies were displayed. Our room was grim, with a 1 foot outdoor triangle. Upgraded for $ even tho the place was almost empty (i begged a discount, but should've been waived). Plus $30 dog fee which should've been incl in initial 'dog friendly' bill.
