Great location, welcoming!

Liked: Wine and cheese at happy Hour. Wonderful scones for breakfast and kind reception.
Disliked: Old style shower but it is an inn, so acceptable

Liked the daily early evening...

Liked: The free breakfast was good, substantial, and with convenient serving times. Especially appreciated the availability on check out morning. Really liked the daily early evening wine and cheese. Very convenient to the Lincoln Library which is what brought us from out of town to Springfield. The new Innkeeper, Theresa?, was a delight.Tom Heeney

Charming and historic.

Liked: I liked the classic architecture of the building (1900ish). Breakfast that was included was tasty and made to order. Quarter mile walk to downtown. Very homey feel.
Disliked: Nothing really. Old bathroom floor was uneven and so door was difficult to close but that added to the charm to me.

A delightful elegant place that...

Liked: Location was great for walking to everything. Staff was great, breakfast was outstanding. Loved our entire visit!
Disliked: Nothing.
