Inexpensive, basic but very clean...

Liked: They’re are constantly communicating that this is a hostel style shared bathroomSo you are definitely forewarned.
Disliked: Room looked very tired and dingy. But you can’t complain for the price your pay.

Bad neighborhood, hotel with people...

Liked: The staff were amazing and friendly. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-kept, room was reasonably clean.
Disliked: This hotel is mis-advertised. There are quite a few rooms that are long-term accommodation - people live here. This is not mentioned in the description and I find that deceptive. (B.com has been allowing deception on may of its properties - be warned.) The staff warned me not to walk in the neighborhood after dark as it is not safe. As a solo female traveler, I would not feel safe staying in this hotel, and if the staff had not been so proactive and helpful, I think I would have gone elsewhere. The B.com listing also advertises a sitting area in the rooms, which I did not have - the room was tiny, not large enough for a sitting area. Beds were not super comfy, but were ok. There is a lot of noise nearby, including from the general aviation airport just down the road. Planes flying overhead constantly. I stayed one night and was very glad to be moving on. This place can do in a pinch, but I feel an honest review is necessary so that future travellers have more accurate information to make a decision. Again, staff were really great and get a full two thumbs up.
