Liked: Very clean, very friendly staff, facilities were great
Disliked: Mattress could be a little thicker but no real concern

A good base for visiting...

Liked: Location in some of the best scenery in England. Unable to climb the ladder to a top bunk, so staff arranged a mattress on the floor as no other spaces available - not too bad for comfort
Disliked: A warning that some bunks only accessible by ladder.

Exceptional

Liked: Great location for the three peaks walk. Clean hostel with good facilities. Paul on reception was very helpful and knowledgeable about the three peaks walk and the surrounding area. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Creaky floorboards, but what can you do? Ear plugs if it's a big deal.

Liked: The receptionist was friendly - lots of recommendations for where to go - facilities clean, great location, staff so friendly - breakfast decent
Disliked: Showers were a bit meh bit did the job

Exceptional

Liked: The location was beautiful. Staff were lovely, especially Paul, very welcoming and kind. Facilities were great, plenty of toilets and showers. Beds were comfy.
Disliked: Nothing I didn't like. However, there were quite a few spiders to be mindful of.
