Consumer beware

Liked: The swimming pool open 7am - 7pm
Disliked: Arrived late, opened up the raunch slider, and entered to the most off smell which instantly put you off wanting to stay. Ended up paying for alternate accommodation elsewhere for 5 nights and had no option but to come back and stay for the remaining 4 nights even though paid for the 9 nights in full at Ingenia. Cockcroaches and spiders loving the indoors, stained dirty curtains, outside needs a tidy up with the lawn and gardens, wash the exterior of the villa, remove cobwebs. Pull out two seater couch is only suitable for a child not an adult which is a very uncomfortable old stained single spring mattress, needs an upgrade. Another reason to have to find alternative accommodation as my adult son was not comfortable sleeping on this. Took full payment prior to staying, which most accommodation places take full payment at the end of the stay. WiFi does not work in the villa. the only option is having to go down to the shared community room next to the office to hook up to the WiFi, most annoying and disappointing. The villa was dated and in need of a spring clean carpets cleaned, freshen it up and get rid of the atrocious smell and put in a WiFi extender to ensure people can hook up to the WiFi in their own villas they have paid for. Lots of permanent residents living there so had small children across who were screaming a lot so not as peaceful as I thought it would be. A partial refund would be most appreciated for the services not provided as stated online but it was a non refundable booking. Consumer beware and I should have read the reviews prior to booking.

Liked: The place was spacious, clean, staff was friendly.
Disliked: Its downfall was the very bad internet connection. My kids could not use it, it wasn't just extremely slow, many times it was non-existent. You could put up with it for a day or 2 but not for 9 days. Also, it didn't smell nice inside, staff provided some deodorant, but it still had a funny smell.

Liked: Overall very good however room was a little dirty and outdated. Had to look under the bed for a lost earring and there was a lot of dust and dirt there

Liked: Great location, quiet.
Disliked: A towel rail and soap holder in the bathroom. Two bedside tables with lights as shown in the photos and a shelf for placing suitcases in the bedroom would have been good.
