Disappointing

Liked: we were rebooked to intercontinental which is in roadworks
Disliked: we were billed after check out for non used articleswe are not going to use ICG anymore, as it looks like a scam. rebooking, extra costs

Excellent hotel book with confidence

Liked: Excellent hotel in the heart of Porto, close to all main shopping outlets and famous sights
Disliked: There’s nothing not to like about this hotel from the moment you enter the presentation of this hotel is amazing .( although It might be a little tired in areas ) Sadly it’s let down by its breakfast . Although the spread of food is amazing there are areas that need improving . several of the items of hot food displayed were in fact cold ..

Loved the hotel and location....

Liked: Great location. Restaurant was excellent.
Disliked: Room service was very slow. Air conditioning difficult to fathom - kept resetting to 18. In room refreshments not replaced. Small but important for a hotel like this.

Terrible

Liked: Nothing, upon arrival we were informed that our room wasn't available due to maintenance issues. They claim to have notified us but I didn't receive any communication. We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary so this was extremely disappointing and annoying. They managed to bump us into another hotel.
Disliked: Everything, poor communication and attitude and never replied to emails that I sent after being bumped.

Exceptional

Liked: Beautiful historic hotel right in the middle of Portos historic district. Near so many places to explore, lots of restaurants and bars. Staff was fantastic, they helped us at every turn. Our room was comfortable, plenty of room and very quiet. Morning breakfast buffet is a must, the food is wonderful.
Disliked: They were doing some repairs to the elevator which was unfortunate, but that's about it.

Disliked: It is one of the leading small hotels of the world would have expected milk for tea and coffee and items such as team you were not provided with many you needed to keep requesting The lights in the room are not user friendly and there is a delay to each light section of the room lighting up Even if all lights are on it’s dark and the only mirror is in the bathroom need one in bedroom area for make up and hair as bathroom I’ve get steamed up
