Beautiful and comfortable historic building...
Liked: Bright, spacious and really lovely interior touches like locally made fabrics. Good quality toiletries and an excellent shower. Compared to the Albert Dock conversion in Liverpool which is a similar building this is much better. Many of the small things that other hotels get wrong this that gets right - real coat hangers, windows that open, decent temperature control, no glare of appliance lights and no noisy lifts. Beautiful airy restaurant and stylish bar/lobby. And the best home made bread at breakfast. Will be back!

New, pristine, lovely
Liked: Super hotel -new, spotlessly clean, walking distance to the centre, gorgeous design and comfortable beds. Unfortunately we were only there for one night, but would def come back here for future visits. Lovely big bathroom.

Nice hotel with nice bar...
Liked: Standard room with 2 double beds is great. Great aircon unlike the Apex down the road. Lots of room to relax. Complementary Nespresso. Good restaurant. Bar area has nice atmosphere though tends to have sport on TV. Barman was great this time round (young American guy). M&S food across the road which is a bonus
Disliked: Restaurant area was closed until early evening - we ended up booking the Apex hotel restaurant to be sure we had a booking but would have eaten at the Daisy Tasker if someone has been taking bookings.

Stressful, disappointing and interruptive to...
Liked: We didn’t have a good experience for our stay. We booked via booking.com. We called the hotel direct to have the rooms adapted to an adjoining room. This was guaranteed by the hotel and we arrived to find they were not honouring this and we had to wait nearly 4 hours to have this rectified.
Disliked: See above. And including the staffs responses to our problem. We were very much made to feel as if this was our problem. Rather than an issue for the hotel to take up with their staff member who guaranteed the adjoining room. We were still charged for two rooms after being finally moved to one room.
