Liked: The Room (best sea view room) was beautiful.The staff were polite and so friendly.. The food was lovely. It is such a shame the bed was too hard for me ro be able to sleep. I really was looking forward to having a full day in great yarmouth for my dog to have excercise on the beach.I felt i could not stay because it would have been unsafe for me to drive home without decent rest.I did not sleep at all and decided enough was enough and left the hotel at 2am..It such a shame because not only has it ruined our stay in great yarmouth, the room itself is lovely. Just not the bed.The staff are lovely too.I would recommend the hotel and the room to those that want a bit of luxury and can tolerate a solid bed.

Disliked: Bit disappointing that we could only eat in the tiny bar as we had a little dog with us and the Terrace Restaurant was closed due to cold weather. The bathrooms were very old fashioned and outdated. We wanted to have an early night but there was a party downstairs right below our rooms and the loud noise didn’t stop until midnight and made it impossible for us to go to sleep. The next morning we were woken up by loud music from downstairs before 8am, so it wasn’t really a good nights sleep. Also the duvet was really thin and the room quite cold. I would have loved a second pillow as that was also very flat but since we were only there for one night, I didn’t have the chance to ask for a second one.
