First opened in 1864 the family-run 4 star superior hotel IMLAUER HOTEL PITTER enjoys a central location in close proximity to many of the famous landmarks and sights of Salzburg. Recently renovated the hotel offers a panoramic view over the city and its surrounding from the IMLAUER Sky - Bar & Restaurant. All Rooms and Suites are newly renovated and soundproofing guarantees guests a relaxing stay. The units offer a mini-bar and a range of tea and coffee. Free WiFi is available in the entire hotel and guests find a sauna and fitness facilities with mountain view. The rich buffet breakfast consisting of regional and organic products is served in the IMLAUER Sky - Restaurant. An a la carte breakfast is available until 14:00. The famous PitterKeller restaurant serves dishes which are characteristic for Salzburg and it surrounding region as well as a range of beer specialties. Salzburg main train station is only a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. Excellent option for the price

Liked: Excellent location, meters away from Mirabel gardens, amazing welcome from staff and clean and neat room.

Pleasant and comfortable place in...

Liked: Very comfortable bed. The room was spacious but too warm at night.
Disliked: The bathroom was not properly designed. There was a narrow bathtub and its access was not easy. They should have had a shower instead.

Perfect location in Salzburg

Liked: The rooms are beautiful. The location is wonderful and it's an easy 10-15 minute walk to the Old Town and many Sound of Music filming sites. It's a 5 minute walk to the Panorama Tour pick-up location if you want to do the movie tour. It's across the street from Mirabel Gardens where many famous scenes were filmed. They even have an ice maker in the hallway for us Americans who actually like ice in our drinks! Highly recommended hotel.
Disliked: The restaurant downstairs was just OK.

A perfect holiday stay

Liked: Very convenient location, walking distance to main station and old town, has parking, good breakfast and very helpful staff. Dining at Pitter Keller is a must do. Only issue was with the wifi which kept on disconnecting.
