Liked: Very spacious triple room full of character and traditional decor, excellent location in the beautiful historical centre of Modena.

Overall the stay was comfortable

Liked: The location was very central close to major points of interest, restaurants and eateries of all types. Parking was provided though it is in a vehicle restricted zone. The washroom and kitchenette were refurbished and clean. The microwave., and coffee maker were welcome. Breakfast was sufficient
Disliked: The room was filled with oversized furniture of a vintage and antique type but broken, more tacky than graceful. The room was gloomy and could do with better decor and cheer. Breakfast was just functional

First disappointing accommodation during our...

Liked: The room was cleaned warm.Room in a central location.
Disliked: Very tired room the deco was in a bad state. Very dark and dingy. The firnishings were old and rickety.. If you opened/looked out of the window, you were faced with crumbling buildings, 5 mtrs opposite and there was a bad smell. Would not be great in the summer, when you would need to open windows. The photos on the site were very misleading. When clicking on our room type, triple, you were taken to the description and photos of a King room. These rooms look better.Our room, at least, was crying out for refurbishment.
