Generally worth considering

Liked: The hosts were very nice and the breakfasts were terrific. The grounds are lovely.
Disliked: Stayed in the carriage house next door to the Inn and it had a very steep winding staircase to get into the room. Best for young people, which we weren't, but we made due. Also bed very soft - you have to like that. Floor in the room was also crooked because of age, so that may annoy some people. If I stayed there again, would want to be in the main building.

Liked: The Idlwilde Inn is a beautiful historical inn with wonderful spaces for relaxing and meeting new people. The rooms are gorgeous and provide every comfort and amenity. The grounds are beautiful and provide an amazing view of Lake Seneca. The owners are warm and welcoming. And the breakfast - wow! Just amazing. This was our second visit to Idlwilde and we will definitely be back again!

Liked: Amazing historical site. Very close to Watkins Glen gorge trail, which is why we were there. Convenient to local restaurants and wine tours.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: This was an amazing experience. I stay mostly in major hotels, this was my first B&B and Marcus made everything so easy and made us feel at home. I could not recommend it more. If you ever get the chance to try it you will not be disappointed. Go with people you love and it will be magical.
Disliked: Leaving. If they ever need a handy man look me up. Leaving was the only bad part of the entire week.
