Great location but old rooms

Liked: The location is right in the one of the best areas of Madrid city centre, full of vibration, nice restaurants and fancy brand stores.
Disliked: Rooms are quite old at the moment and not well maintained. I used to stay here most of my times in Madrid but I got a bit disappointed this time.

Liked: The location was amazing. All the shops and restaurants were very close. The staff were very responsive.
Disliked: My room was right next to the housekeeping room which was noisy. I was woken up by the noise and didn’t sleep properly the first night. However the staff changed ,y room to a quieter room on request. The room wasn’t as nice and was a bit older but it was quiet.The rooms had no natural light and the windows faced a building wall
