Great place to stop over...
Liked: Fantastic location and central to what we needed for the visit. Accessible, clean, friendly staff, cafe at the club, vending machines for snacks if needed, easy parking, air conditioning available and also windows that would open if preferred.
Disliked: Nothing

Very poor experience over New...
Liked: Not much to like except the view.
Disliked: Hot room on arrival at 3 pm on the 14th level (top floor). Blockout curtains open with sun pouring in and no air-conditioning on. No double glazing on the room windows only tinted. Room didn't cool down overnight, even with aircon on the lowest setting of 19 degrees (and after being reset by staff at reception) from 3 pm AND with the blockout blinds closed. We couldn't sleep comfortably on our first night due to the heat.Bar fridge not working on the first night.Went to go to the gym on first night and told there was no gym. Totally misleading advertising saying there was a fitness centre in the hotel. There is no gym on the hotel premises. The only available gym was a separately owned business, 'Anytime Fitness' and the hotel reception said they required additional payment for its use. This was not stated in the Booking.com advertising. Advertising strongly suggests this fitness centre is available as part of the room rate when it is not.Service was terrible. When I gave feedback to the Manager Aron, re the above, in the morning after our first night, he initially became defensive and said, "You can check out and I will give you a refund." When I said to Aaron, the room is not up to standard for $444 per night, he responded saying, "That's cheap! I have rooms going for $550), justifting the excessive pre New Years room charge. I told him that aircon and a working fridge were basics and these were not working at an acceptable standard. He went on to defensively argue that the aircons were new, that the fridge was only a bar fridge and re-iterated the company's policy of charging extra for the gym, pulling out a written notice of this to show me ansd enforce his claim. I told him that it was misleadingly advertised as included in the room rate on Booking.com. I told Aaron, "There is no need to be defensive, I am simply giving you feedback".and I agreed to a refund for the last night of our 3-night stay.
