Disliked: Lack of Essential Guest Services and Unhelpful Staff ResponseDuring my stay at La Perouse, Nantes, I encountered significant challenges that travelers should be aware of. Firstly, the hotel does not provide access to a general-use telephone for local or international calls. The in-room phone is limited strictly to room service requests, which can be highly inconvenient for guests needing external assistance or emergency support.More concerning, however, was the response I received during a personal crisis. After my accounts were hacked, I found myself in urgent need of just 3 Euros to reach my educational institution, where emergency funds were available. Despite the visible presence of a cash drawer at the front desk, hotel staff declined to assist in any capacity. This refusal left me feeling unsupported and vulnerable in a moment of genuine need.For travelers considering a stay here, I recommend ensuring you have access to alternative means of communication and emergency funds, as the hotel's guest support in critical situations appears limited.

Liked: Location & breakfast was good, the room a little cozy. It did have a bath which was unexpected.
Disliked: The floor had a funky smell but the room was ok.

Convenient for a One Night...

Liked: Terrific central location, close walking distance to bars and restaurants.The continental buffet style breakfast included was very good with lots of choice.
Disliked: The nearest car park is a 4 minute walk away. It is an underground multi storey structure with very, very narrow access on entry, within and exit, so if you have a big car (or even a medium size one), beware! The car park was extremely difficult to locate and access, even though I have used it on two previous occasions. Access is along what looks like a ‘wrong’ one-way approach across pedstrianised cobbles - but once found, it is exceptionally very good value for money at just €3.60 for a 12 hour overnight stay!
