Liked: The location is good.
Disliked: We've stayed here a couple of times and it's always been our go to when staying in London. This time we were allocated a room on the ground floor which was not good, we couldn't open the curtains as people on the street walking by could see in, not the best for £360 a night. Breakfast was so overfull it was impossible to find a seat and it was so loud I couldn't hear myself think never mind hear my family to chat. Won't stay here again

Convenient location if overly warm

Liked: It is a convenient location for museums and much of central London for shopping and sights because of the tube station. The area feels safe and night and is good for single travellers. The breakfast is continental but has a good range with cold cuts and boiled eggs as well as bread/fruit/cereals. Rooms are small but have everything you need.
Disliked: The hotel has clearly been renovated but there are some bits (particularly in the bathrooms) that look a little grubby (marks on the grout, marks on the floors etc). I think the room was generally clean but this made it feel like it was not. The bigger issue was the temperature. It was 25 degrees in the room and I could not get the air con unit to shift this even though I tried. The cleaners opened the window on the first morning and I left it open all day and night and even with this the room was still warm - in December.
