Liked: It's in a great location, and there are many restaurants within walking distance.
Disliked: Firstly, there wasn't a reception, and the staff dressed up like they were living in their houses. I didn't feel welcome; the staff looked like they had woken up from sleep. Secondly, the rooms were so freezing cold that I couldn't sleep or enjoy my stay as I was busy trying to keep warm. I informed the staff about the coldness of the room, and they replied that they couldn't do anything about it. Finally, on the booking.com website, they stated that parking was discounted to £9. To my surprise, the staff told me I had to pay the full price, and I ended up paying £ 24 for my parking £. I was disappointed and annoyed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, and it's not value for the money. I paid £79 for a freezing cold room without heating. This is unacceptable treatment of a customer or guest.

Gem of a Hotel in...

Liked: Check in was very quick, room small but clean and comfortable. Floors are all Beatle themed which is a nice touch. Location couldn't have been better as 5 minute walk to the famous Mathew Street and Liverpool One with all the shops, pubs and eating establishments you would want. Love Liverpool and would definitely stay in the Ibis Styles, Dale Street again without hesitation.

Disliked: Room was cold and not heating up properly. Chair was broken, had to report it.Bathroom was tiny.
