OK hotel but customer service...

Liked: Hotel and room were clean and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Good location yet rooms still nice and quiet. Beds comfortable.
Disliked: Reception staff seemed stretched and as a result were not very helpful or friendly at all. Everything seemed an effort. When I asked for some first aid help for my young daughter the reception staff directed me to Boots! They were not interested at all, they didn't even ask how she was. I have intentionally marked the hotel down for this. Thankfully Nimra in the restaurant was very helpful and assisted me and my daughter. She was an absolute star.

Too warm

Liked: Lovely bright clean hotel close to all amenities
Disliked: Our room was too hot we asked for the air con to be checked several times it was uncomfortable.

Great value for money. Pleasantly...

Liked: The room was clean and nice, wasn’t expecting much from the room but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Lobby is nice and didn’t eat in restaurant but looks nice. I stayed here with my dog and it was perfect for us. location was great, walking distance to bars, pubs, shopping centres etc was 6mins to where we were heading! Also has plenty of fast food places nearby including a McDonald’s a few steps away and a dominoes right next door to the hotel! really handy if you want to grab a takeaway for the room. Reception staff were nice and I was able to leave my luggage for a couple hours before check in and freshen up in the toilets. Would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: The only negative thing I have to say is that there isn’t a bar / lobby area where I could sit with my dog and have a drink. Would have liked this as didn’t want to be wandering around too late on my own with her.
