Fabulous location

Liked: Location was great. Right on St Andrews square and so handy for tram to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia at Leith and also great for the Royal mile. Rooms were really nice and very quirky. Loved the room decor. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices.

Fabulous friendly hotel.

Liked: What a fabulous hotel. Couldnt be better placed.My room 417 was lovely with a great bathroom and really nice toiletries. The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast was superb. Thank you.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like. Lovely hotel.

The hotel served its purpose...

Liked: The hotel is ideally placed for the bus station, shops, restaurants and attractions. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: The room was extremely small and although it was described as a double room, it really was just suitable for one. The shower room had no shower cap or body lotion. We were staying for just one night so it wasn’t too much of a problem but it was a disappointment.
