Liked: Clean room, comfortable bedReasonable breakfast
Disliked: Unnecessary spare bed made up, had to fold heavy sofa bed back & move down to make room for getting into main bed. Bedside light not working. Bath plug stuck , so could not empty water after bath Hotel felt like Marie Celeste, a struggle to find staff for any assistance Draught beers run out and not replenished in the 4 day stayNo chef, no food/ evening meal, no bar snacks which was disappointing as restaurant & bar were two of the main reasons for choosing hotel Hotel very tired looking, appeared to be running down , swimming pool closed, no furniture in garden to enjoy sunshine

Liked: We liked the location and on initial arrival the hotel is decorated well downstairs particularly , staff were friendly. Breakfast was good value too.
Disliked: On arrival there was a little confusion over the parking as you have to register the car inside the hotel and pay for parking which we had looked up would be £10 per 24 hrs, however we thought we should pay online and the lady at reception said yes pay on the app - so for the two days instead of paying £20 we were charged £36 (£15 a day and £6 booking fee) so that was a little frustrating. The pool was closed - we were notified of this after we had initially booked but had hoped works may have been done as we had researched which hotels had pools. The room was nice enough as you walk in not the biggest family room we’ve stayed in but fair, sadly there were a few stains on the floor and the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. We also had an issue with the plug getting stuck in the bath and then when taking a shower the water didn’t drain (thinking maybe it was slow draining we went out for the day only to come back to water still in the bath) so we asked the man on reception and he seemed aware there was a problem with the plug and came up with a screw driver and got it out (unfortunately my lo put it back in) so he sent up the screw driver for us to manage it. Lastly a couple of times we tried to use the facilities of the bar or coffee bar and waited around for a while - no staff - went to reception and that person came and served us. All in all not the worst and we did like the location and staff were nice but if you are thinking when you book of a clean, luxurious place to stay whilst you explore Bournemouth you may be disappointed.
