Not what I'd expect from...

Liked: It was a room with facilities for the night
Disliked: I'd booked this as it said it had a restaurant. Turned out it did, what was not said was it didn't open at the weekends, including Friday the night of our stay. Trying to find somewhere to eat was virtually impossible, probably down to the bad weather on the day. Landed up with a stail sandwich and bottle of water from a small shop! Not the best experience after a very long drive from Spain.

Liked: Night Manager was so helpful and very attentive.
Disliked: Great staff, good location, great breakfast choices and dog friendly

OK Not Brilliant

Liked: The room was clean, and it has a good shower. Was upgraded to premium room but still just above average
Disliked: Breakfast was diabolical, and there should be an option to opt out for a cheaper rate. Kettle could have done with a proper clean out. The little coffee jar is not hygienic. You don't know what's been put in it! Pillows on bed a bit of an odd shape and not comfortable.

Pleasant stay with a lovely...

Liked: The property was well kept, clean and tidy. The rooms were comfortable and the bed was great.
Disliked: The location was slightly further away from the town centre than we had anticipated. The area and walk to the town centre was run down; there is work in progress, but it’s going to take time to complete.
