Really good hotel for a...

Liked: The room was very spacious and clean. The property is like a 10 minute walk to the metro and a 5 minute walk to a tram stop. It is is a quiet area so no noise too. The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to help! The breakfast was really good, hot and cold food.
Disliked: The rooms are not really sound proof so you can hear people in the morning but it was not too bad.

Short amsterdam trip

Liked: The hotel location was perfect close to restaurants, supermarket and the street market late night takeaways close by if you end up coming home later than planned. Room was clean,decent size and the bathroom and shower were nice
Disliked: The room was cold at night the air conditioner would not allow you to turn the heat up and the small radiator in the room wasn't warm enough to keep the room warm. Also people queuing for lifts in the morning were noisy outside the room as the door to the room is directly by the doors to the lift. Maybe a sign could be put up asking guests to be quiet when waiting for the lift in the morning after breakfast.

Short and Sweet

Liked: It was central to amsterdam and the tram came right outside which was a bonus. The first member of staff who greeted us was lovely and shared information about tourist hotspots we might want to visit. We were told we had been upgraded to a double room but to be honest our room was still very very small making us wonder what we would have been left with if we weren’t upgraded. The wifi connection was good.
Disliked: one member of staff was particularly rude barging past us as we entered the lift. He was also very predominately smelling of marjuana while on shift. We also had no card to allow us to prevent room keeping from coming in and cleaning. Not a major issue but would have liked to have been able to leave it o. the door one day. The price of this was quite expensive for the size of the room- we paid £350+ for 3 nights which i felt like was quite a lot for the quality of the room we were staying in.
