Large modern hotel, some small...

Liked: The hotel is well-located between the Old Town and the main station. It is a tall building giving amazing panorama across the city and its Cathedral, towards the Black Forest in Germany. It is modern and furnished in a minimalist way. Wifi is good, large smart TV, room is well-lit, comfortable bed and good shower. The groundfloor bar is friendly and shared with the adjacent Novotel.
Disliked: The room was stifling hot (mid-October!) with no air-conditioning and locked window. The bathroom smells from the toilet despite being on 7th floor. There is no wardrobe, just a clothes rail. No tea/coffee facility (to be fair, it was not listed). I requested a morning alarm call but it did not come. These are small issues but together they amount to a disappointment, because it could be better.

Comfortable and pleasant.

Liked: We have found that all Ibis hotels are neat, clean and provide exactly what we need for a short stop over. The staff are always pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: No complaints
