Yes I will recommend to my friends that even for holidays, your choice of Ibis cannot be wrong, especially this one in Rotherham. Thanks for making our stay there so relaxed and fun. Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, at all times! Keep it up. I have stayed in Ibis all over Europe in my earlier working days in the 80's. Never wrong for working visits and now holidays too.
Disliked: The rooms and toilets in the 3rd floor definitely could do with some upgrades. Water pressure on 3rd floor is really slow. Could do with a refurbishment.

Disliked: Only one hard chair to sit on, bed was lumpy, not enough tea and coffee supplied, we asked for a quiet room but was given a noisy room next to a main stairwell most of the night the door kept banging. Nothing to drink at the bar as the choice was very spare. I sat on a settee in the bar which was covered in food, I swapped to a single chair and the arm fell away, CASH was a major problem, it didn't state in the Wright ups that cash wasn't allowed. Very disappointed so we left a day early.

Liked: The hotel was clean and comfortable, and a fair price. There was no hairdryer in my room, and the facilities were quite basic but the staff were friendly and welcoming and it was a good value stay for one night.

Disliked: The light on the corridor was flickering badly. The soft close on the door in the corridor was mal-adjusted so there were loud bangs throughout the evening. These two items were fixed by the maintenance team within 48 hours but why were they not spotted internally?The lift is very slow. The room decor is quite tired and worn.
