Disliked: Carpet in room was grubby.

Disliked: The place needs a refresh. Tired worn dirty carpets and furniture. Looks like the company isn't willing to spend money. Real shame

Liked: Keith the manager and his team run the hotel like a well oiled machine he has his staffs safelty and guests safety at the top of his priority so if you smoke go outside if you want to be disrespectful to staff or guests your out which is a comfort knowing we had to stay for about 5 weeks due to a child in icu preston and the care and compassion the staff shown was second to none Courtney and mick were amazing mick doesn't realise how funny he is and lifted our spirits at a time we needed it most and for the people who complained about a stain on the carpet what do you expect it's budget hotel the rooms are clean the bedding is changed daily for a £40 a night for 2 people go somewhere else for 10 times that with miserable staff keep it up Keith job well done in our eyes

Dog friendly room was very...

Liked: Good location for traveling
Disliked: Room was very basic . Carpets and walls were covered in stains. It was a dog friendly room which might explain the state of the carpet but still not pleasant. Didn't even want to put my dog bed on top of the carpet. Fortunately we were only booked for one night.

Liked: Typical Ibis, basic but with everything.
Disliked: Housekeeping should give maintenance info on what not working: wash hand bowl not emptying properly. Neither bedside lamps working. Room was very cold. Breakfast expensive so went to Wetherspoons

Good location for us and...

Liked: The staff were really helpful, we asked to move rooms as we were close to a couple staying with dogs and my son is allergic, and they were more than happy to help, we were moved in 10 minutes, Beds were comfy and the breakfast was really nice.
Disliked: The carpets in the corridors and rooms were old and stained, the curtains were short and did not cover the whole of the window aspect, the bedroom furniture was basic with no drawers in the bedside tables
