We stayed overnight to attend Adam Ant concert at Portsmouth Guildhall. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Liked: Brilliant staff.
Disliked: Just a bit of noise from youngsters but not really a problem.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. We chose this hotel as it was near the Portsmouth Guildhall. We had tickets to see Bryan Ferry (unfortunately due to ill health he had to cancel). Will definitely use this hotel again when the concert is re-scheduled.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff.
Disliked: Shower a bit small.

Good value , pleasant hotel...

Liked: More positives than negatives. Great value overall with friendly staff and spotlessly clean rooms in a reasonable location. Breakfast was good value but would have preferred a variety of cooked eggs other than scrambled. Other than that a good selection of fruit,continental and pasty options.
Disliked: Tiny bathrooms,noise from the corridors and uncomfortable pillows.

Liked: Check in was easy and the staff super helpful.Nice bright lobby area with parking directly outside the front door meant we were able to order takeaway for delivery without any problems after attending a concert at the Guildhall.Great location short walk from the train station and city centre.
Disliked: Bathroom was ridiculously tiny and the shower intended for size 0 models!Pillows were thin and uncomfortable and only one spare for a double room!

A convenient happy space

Liked: Well located for the ferry terminal, the hotel was easy to find. The parking charge was unexpected but it was conveniently situated. Entering the hotel the big open space made a good impression and the staff were helpful. The bedroom was compact, to say the least, but it kind of worked.
Disliked: Advertised as dog friendly- it certainly was - but the dog basked took up all what little space there was in the room

Liked: Location was good for Gunwharf and surrounding areas.
Disliked: Room was too small for two people. Bathroom a joke, like an aeroplane toilet.
