ibis Périgueux Centre, Perigueux

Very good situation and reasonable...

Liked: Excellent location a few minutes' walk from Cathedral and heart of old centre, but easily accessible on road adjacent to river, which also has a number of free parking bays along it, between the two bridges (same stretch where hotel Ibis is located). For the rest it's a typically modern, adequately comfortable and no particular frills Ibis hotel, representing decent value for money in the context of Perigeux, taking into account its facilities and convenience.
Disliked: One of the two young female receptionists was a little brusque to the point of seeming slightly rude, but the other was very nice (as was their male colleague).

A very pleasant 2 night...

Liked: Location is brilliant, at rear of Cathedral and overlooking river. Very safe and quiet but within less than 5 minute walk to restaurants, old town and shops. Restaurant was excellent, very good meal in evening and reasonably priced. Room on the small side but bed comfortable and clean. Shower room could do with an upgrade but excellent value all round. Parking on site limited but free car parking close by.
Disliked: Shower room, really small and dated.

Liked: friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good breakfast, nice location.
Disliked: sounds insulation in the room could have been better.

not as I expected but...

Liked: calm , cosy bed , good indoor temperature ( ajustable ) , multiple light options , I can't rate food service , I didn't take any dinner nor breakfast
Disliked: room is little bit badly located if I may say , with some signs or attrition particularly in bathroom , the most astonishing thing is THERE IS NO WIFI ( believe me or not Wifi has no connection ) which sounds weird for an Ibis Hotel ( I thought I would be redirected to an identification page to fill my name and room number but nothing came out , another major issue was the I went outside and when I got back the room card could't open the room door , I had to go to the receptionist to have it reconfigured and said it happens often , well let's forget this , the third major issue is that the ( free park lot ) mentioned as free had only 4 or 5 places , , the receptionist to me that if those places were occupied I could find a Park lot on the opposite side of the hotel for 15€ , anyway I hope information given by a hotel in an official site could just be more accurate , there is nothing disappointing than discovering the unforeseen in the last minute.
