Liked: Great location, daily maid service was excellent, desk staff very helpful, breakfast was good too
Disliked: Small room although that is the typical for Paris

Liked: Location,Location, Location. Very lively area lots to do and metro to just about anywhere. Good breakfast at reasonable price, room was very clean maid service was excellent.
Disliked: Naturally the room was small but that’s very common in Paris

My place to stay for...

Liked: I have booked this hotel for a number of years. It's great. So close to Republique, Gare du Nord & Eurostar. The accomodation is always fine; staff wonderfully helpful, breakfast has a very good range with ever so helpful and friendly restaurant staff. Always a total joy to stay here. Merci!
Disliked: Nothing. I wouldn't chose it if it wasn't so right for my needs.

Small, not super comfortable, but...

Liked: It was fine; small, but that's normal for Paris. Good location.
Disliked: There were a number of interactions with staff that made me uncomfortable. The wifi was broken for my entire 4 day stay; when I asked the front desk about it, they told me nothing was wrong. Then the next day when I asked again, they admitted that actually it was down and there was nothing they could do, but I did not appreciate them not at least being honest. I didn't have working Internet the entire time I was there. Additionally, I came back to the room to find a pair of my undergarments wet and balled up in a bag. This made me incredibly uncomfortable so I asked about it; apparently housekeeping had accidentally gotten it dirty with a vacuum and had washed it and left it for me. No one informed me of this, I just found it in a bag with no explanation, and it was left damp and crumpled up in my suitcase-- not even dry. This was very inappropriate. The bed was also uncomfortable and the heating/aircon barely worked.
