Liked: -very friendly staff-good breakfast-cozy atmosphere-good mattress-great location, just a walk to the old town and first line to the river

Liked: The hotel is in a good location and you can reach everywhere on foot. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very friendly.
Disliked: There weren't enough towels - I had only one towel. There weren't enough hangers. There was no kettle. Maybe I expected too much.

Don't expect a lot

Liked: Location to Christmas Markets was ideal
Disliked: 1. Rooms need renovation. The bathroom baseboard area was falling apart and made the place seem dirty.2. Breakfast: We waited over 20 minutes to get a seat. The breakfast bar was poorly stocked at only 0900 with the majority of items empty... no coffee cups, no bread, empty jelly jars. Breakfast staff seemed very overwhelmed and never spoke to us, not even a greeting. It's definitely not worth the $15 price.3. When we arrived, the man at reception was not extremely helpful when it came to advice on where we could park or when we checked in. No staff spoke to us the entire stay until reception woman when we left.4. Men were playing ping pong during breakfast, just odd. Maybe put more breakfast tables instead of a ping pong table.5. The one elevator was out of service.6. The room was very warm, and the thermometer on the wall didn't seem to affect anything.7. The room didn't even have a kettle, never mind a coffee pot or a bottle of water, as we've seen in every other European hotel.
