Liked: The room was mostly clean and well presented. Check in and check out was a smooth and nice process.
Disliked: Room service was often not done properly with amenities missing, e.g. towels, floor mats. We also travelled in a group and ordered two rooms and one was significantly smaller than the other.

Great staff, but proceed with...

Liked: So, both rooms I was in (see the cons) during my stay were well presented, have good views, and were the standard I would expect of an Ibis hotel. I was very impressed. The check-in was relatively easy, with myself and the young lady (name escapes me) behind the counter turned out to be from England too (Newcastle to be precise), so we had a little chat about back home.
Disliked: This is a negative that turns into a positive. It turns out that there's a nightclub near the hotel and in the original room I was in (which I think was 405), whilst soundproofed walls, the vibrations could be heard through the window. I went to complain to the staff member on (this was just before midnight) and said that there was no mention of it being near a nightclub, and if it was I wouldn't have booked there. He arranged a room move to 1816, the other side of the building and much higher up, and I didn't hear any noise from outside the room for the rest of the trip. It was a nice, quick, resolution. Had I gone in mid-summer, rather than in the winter in the Southern Hemisphere, there is a good chance this would have been sold out and I wouldn't have been able to move.

Liked: amazing spot, so many things to do and see walking distance. staff are all lovely - left my luggage with them before check in with no issues and checking in and out was a breeze. room was clean, affordable & modern :)
