Disliked: Access to contact could be better (called front desk multiple times with no response).

All staff were very friendly; very clean; lovely breakfast; peaceful even though in a busy area.

Liked: Reasonable distance to centre of town. We were lucky to get breakfast included in the room rate, and it was plentiful and hot.

Disliked: The pillows were just horrendous! So hard and only one per person. It would have been good to have extra pillows in the room as the one that there was gave absolutely no support at all. I notice that other reviews complained about the pillows going back for some months and the Manager has responded claiming that guest comfort was a priority and the comments would be shared with the team to explore improvements. Clearly this is just something that they say but have no intention of acting upon and nothing has been done. All it needs is a couple of extra pillows in the room as most hotels do. It may be budget but that’s no excuse to compromise on the quality. I had the worst, most uncomfortable night’s sleep I’ve ever had so please don’t “look forward to welcoming us back” because unfortunately we won’t be staying here again.
