Great budget hotel in the city - can't go wrong after a gig.

Not great...

Disliked: My room had clearly been given away and over booked but they used the old "flagged for maintenance" trick. Despite my request of a disabled room - which I am and they confirmed would be ok. So my room wasn't available despite them calling me 3 times disrupting my evening before asking if I was going to turn up. I also stated my arrival time on my booking and they called way before this. One of the two rooms in the hotel was available - this room had rubbish from the previous user in it making my colleague debate the cleanliness of the room. She was also very uncomfortable in the bed.I was sent over to the Alan hotel (I think) To which they expressed this was a "big upgrade" over my room which made me happy to oblige instead of complaining. Only to find out I was sent to a room that was not at all nicer. It was dingy, stuffy and way too hot despite having the extremely noisy cooling on all night. And it also wasn't a disabled room. All I wanted was a clean cool room and a soft bed. I paid way too much to not receive that. Not happy at all.
