Liked: We were going to a concert at the Amplitheatre so the location was idea. It was nicely decorated, clean, the staff were very friendly, the beds very comfy.

Disliked: The bed is not confort and the hotel is near to the rail way so very noisy if you open de windows

Disliked: The coffee was not good. Need big improvements for coffee. Didn’t have enough cups and bowls in time. There was no bar tender on Saturday evening. The desk clerk although served us the beer

Good value for money

Liked: Staff were lovely; always a smile and happy to help. Travelled for a conference and location is very convenient: Very close to the convention centre. Beautiful walk in the morning, through a garden and crossing the bridge. Nice breakfast and comfortable.Although is not necessarily very close to the city centre Lyon has amazing public transport and is within a walking distance.On my last night had n issue with the blow dryer in the room and was swiftly moved into another room with no problem.
Disliked: Close to the train station which I hadn’t realised at the time of booking. For me is not a problem as I’m used to the noise but might be an issue for those who are not used to this. Aircon was difficult to figure, I thought initially was broken but then realised only worked if set over 25C which helped in creating some air flow in the room. The only negative thing to flag was that room service left my door completely opened after cleaning the room, with a towel blocking it so wouldn’t close. This is a safety hazard as all my belongings were in the room. Is not something I would expect to happen in a hotel
