Liked: Price was reasonable. Liked that the train and bus were free to get into the city centre.
Disliked: Strong smell of perfume in hallways. Restaurant recommended were not open. In fact the one recommended by the staff person was closed up for good by the looks of it. A huge wall fell on my husband when he attempted to open the restaurant door. It was an odd set up.to say the least.

Liked: It is located a short walk from the station and bus stops. Lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. Easy access to shops.

Liked: Mattehof Station is only 2 stops from Lucerne Station and the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Mattenhof StationRoom size is big for 3 persons with space to open all 3 luggage If the guest completes online check-in, the hotel allows early checkin once the room is ready without extra charges.
Disliked: 3-in-1 type of power sockets are not useful for tourists using adapters.Room cleaning is not thorough
