Liked: The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cafe/restaurant inside the hotel had good service and food. The room was clean.
Disliked: The location is a bit far from the city center, but still it is close to the train station.

Comfortable weekend break in KOLN

Liked: Located close to train station and tram link in a very quiet area. 20 minute walk from Koln Cathedral and the old town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar was available 24 hours. Bed very comfortable, plenty of storage space and good size en-suite bathroom.
Disliked: I had a problem with my sink, where the plug wouldn`t come out so water wouldn`t drain away. When I reported it to reception they told me that they wouldn`t have the necessary staff on-site who would be able to fix the issue for the remainder of my stay (two days) so it had to stay as it was. So, for the rest of my stay, every time I had to use the sink I then had to scoop water out of the bowl using a glass and throw it down the loo. Not a major issue but disappointing that a name hotel wouldn`t have a handyman on-site \ on-call.
