ibis Hotel Northampton Centre, Northampton

Outstanding hotel. Ibis over the years have improved dramatically and if possible I will be booking Ibis on future trips.

Liked: The size of the room for a budget price was fantastic.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

Very handy for Roadmender; clean and comfortable hotel for a night out.

Liked: Very close to Roadmender; friendly staff.
Disliked: Nothing bad to report.

We were refused a bar of chocolate when we got back to hotel. He said they didn't have any. When I pointed to the chocolate clearly in view, I was given a dirty look from the staff member and ignored. Very unpleasant man.

Disliked: Grumpy night staff. Very unhelpful.

The room itself was very nice, clean and comfortable. However we were woken on four different occasions due to guests running up and down and shouting/laughing outside our room. At one point I called reception to complain - this was about 5am. Therefore we were not happy with our stay and unfortunately won't be returning, which is a shame because were go to the Roadmender quite often.

Liked: Clean room.
Disliked: Noise.

Liked: I booked 2 rooms.I X Double and 1 X Twin.Both rooms were clean and location was very good.
Disliked: Unfortuantely in the Twin room, the TV did not work.We were offered to change rooms, but at that point it was not convenient.

Disliked: The lighting in the room is very low.

Liked: I liked the ethnic diversity of the staff and how polite they were was front of house manager at derngate theatre in northampton for seven years been very impressed checking out tomorrow .
Disliked: Toilet is slightly broken ie flusher handle gets stuck don't specify on site there is no bath only shower. main reason I came because live on a canal boat been treating myself big bed television etc. Reference TV disappointed and apparently changed all television since October but still playing up 20 per cent channels dont load. No itv one which was annoying wanted to watch real time six nations game.p
