Ibis hotel great as always...

Liked: usual great Ibis standard, everywhere you go around the World
Disliked: Booked a room for 1 night - non refundable for 2nd October. After less than 1 hour I noticed that I did select the wrong month (october instead of november) so I wrote booking.com to ask for support. After 20 minutes over the phone, they told me they can't do it and i need to contact the hotel directly. I contacted the hotel directly and they told me that I need to ask booking.com, they can't do it... got back to booking.com without answers. Contacted both customer support and the hotel directly: the hotel told me the rate was non refundable and they cant give my money back. I explained them and showed them that I immediately booked the same room for the same days but one month earlier... no way. I tried again as I will be back on 6th November, I just asked for a discount, even small: whatever gesture would be appreciated. They stopped replying, despite of my reminder. This is a BAD attitude. No human touch, no mercy... just milking a cow who reserved hundreds hotel in the past year. I will lose my money, but it's right that people know how I've been treated

The Ibis is my favorite...

Liked: I've stayed in the Ibis many times. I'm never disappointed. The hotel is comfy and excellently located for my purposes of visiting Heidelberg and friends.
Disliked: I suppose the addition of a guest laundry would be helpful for those, like me, who are "on the road" for a length of time.

Disliked: Very small bathroom. The distance between toilet and the wall was 20cm
