Good
Liked: Simple, very good value, nothing really wrong with the place, excellent breakfast for €8.
Disliked: Would have liked 2 pillows each instead of 1. But that really is a very small quibble!

Overall a good budget place...
Liked: Nothing in particular. Basic accommodation services have been provided.
Disliked: Booked B&B and they had no record of my breakfast being included. So I was asked to go pay for breakfast at the reception before they would allow me in the restaurant. I showed them my booking details, that breakfast was included in my booking snd thought that they would update their records. But no, I had to go through this every day.

Liked: I appreciated the breakfast times 5-10am on weekdays and 5:30-10:30 on weekends. The nearest Metro stations to the city are Garibaldi (Line 13) and Saint-Ouen (Line 14 and RER) - both are 8-10 min walk from the hotel. I would not recommend walking to Porte de Clingancourt metro station, especially after dark and on weekends as there are lots of homeless people along the way. On weekends the street towards the station is made an open air swap-and-sell market. There is no laundry in the hotel (we knew it), so I used the laundry called Laverie Saint-Ouen - Laverie Libre Service, about 5 min walk towards Saint-Ouen. Great facilities, quick and convenient. The funny thing is, when we visited the Carnavalet museum we found a piece of an old Paris map there that shows the exact location of this hotel - there was a castle-style city wall right in front of this hotel back in the day. The highway at the front runs on the old city wall! Which means the hotel is located right outside the city centre ("old Paris").Amenities were great for their price. Meals - absolutely perfect! The walls between the rooms are said to be soundproof - and I believe they are.Highly recommend the place - both if you travel alone and with kids.
Disliked: I have stayed in lots of hotels (I think) and there was nothing in this Ibis that would raise a red flag with me. Nothing bad. Shout out to the staff, they are doing a great job! Out daughter messed up the shower gel bottle so it could not dispense the gel, but this can hardly be attributed to the hotel. We bought our own shampoo in a supermarket on the way from the station.
