This is an ideal hotel, not too far from the train station with shops available within 1 mile. The reception staff is well trained and their customer service is very good. Sanitation is a top priority there and it was manifested in their positive approach to cleanliness. The room I stayed in was very nice, convenient, clean and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely return to the Ibis Hotel and will certainly recommend it to anyone traveling to Wales for an event and other occasions. Cheers !

Perfect budget overnight stay!

Liked: Great value for money, perfect location. Ideal for an overnight stop over with no frills. Room was clean enough, bed was ok comfort wise. Toilet was very low down. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Does exactly what it says - budget stay but perfect for what we needed. Can’t complain for the price.

Very good value for money.

Liked: The room was very clean and I was positioned at the end of the corridor, as I had requested. I have stayed here each year for the last few years to take part in the Newport Marathon and for the price, I have no complaints. It is perfectly located off the motorway and I just leave my car at the hotel and walk the 15/20 min walk to the start line. No hassle.
Disliked: No complaints from me!

Liked: Decent enough room and facilities - pretty much what I was expecting after previous Ibis Budget stays, maybe even slightly better.
