This is an ideal hotel, not too far from the train station with shops available within 1 mile. The reception staff is well trained and their customer service is very good. Sanitation is a top priority there and it was manifested in their positive approach to cleanliness. The room I stayed in was very nice, convenient, clean and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely return to the Ibis Hotel and will certainly recommend it to anyone traveling to Wales for an event and other occasions. Cheers !

It was a decent place...

Liked: The staff were really friendly and were able to help us out when we couldn’t check in to our room. They also allowed us to have some snacks from breakfast, this was nice because I’m not sure if we had to pay for it or not. But we didn’t have to
Disliked: Firstly the lift wasn’t working, which made me feel bad for recommending this hotel for some of my aunties who had also come along for the trip. They have issues with climbing stairs. Although the staff did apologise. The room itself was quite small, especially with the fact that if 3 people were meant to be in that one room (I had a room with a double bed and a bunk single bed)- it wouldn’t be ideal. Luckily myself and my friend were only there for 1 night so it wasn’t that bad. The bathroom (shower, toilet and sink) are all separate, with the sink being part of the actual room, which I didn’t particularly like. But I think I was comparing the standards of the room to the general Ibis hotel standard, and realised I guess that’s why it may be called Ibis Budget.
