Painful
Disliked: There was a problem with the bathroom which led to really loud noise, instead of fixing the issue they told us to still sleep there and we will get a refund. We ended up sleeping in the hallway because the noise was too loud and seemed dangerous. They only fixed it in the next morning leaving the noise, also for the neighbours, for over 12 hours, when they finally fixed it, it was fixed within five minutes.

Not what we expected
Liked: Staff were friendly.
Disliked: Room was small and dusty. We couldn’t use the kettle in the room, it was not in a good condition.

Disliked: Bathroom, couldn’t take surfboards in the room, please include shower door next remodel?

Liked: Comfortable bed.
Disliked: The was a cigarette and slice of watermelon left by previous guests that was not picked up by the cleaner. There was also a large build up of mold in the shower vent and hair from a previous guest.

It wasn’t a good experience...
Liked: I have previously stayed there that’s why I booked. It was close and convenient
Disliked: The rooms were dirty bunks weren’t made it actually looked like it had been slept in and nothing had been removed or changed. Walls near the bunk beds in room 222 were filthy. When we checked in the receptionist told us he didn’t have rooms left, that other people had come in and were given the accommodation which concerned me as I had booked way in advance. He answered the phone while we were in the middle of our check in. I understand but he could have put them on hold while he completed our check in.
