Pleasant
Liked: The room was clean, the wifi worked ok and the chekout times were ideal.
Disliked: There was a misunderstanding with the staff (a guy) regarding breakfast arrangements and they were rude and didn't solve our problem, blaming us. The rest of the staff was respectful. The pipes from the sink were dripping. Breakfast was sometimes not restocked.

Convenient location
Liked: The location was great as the buses and trams were right on the doorstep. There are small supermarkets and cafes down the road from the Ibis so you can get everything you need. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and put the rugby on for us in the guest's area. We enjoyed staying here as it's convenient to public transport, the big Park, and only 10 minutes to the city.
Disliked: We have no complaints about this accommodation and would definitely stay here again.

Came for rugby world cup match, staff were so hospitable and let us watch some games in lobby eith our wine and beers

Its fine if you only plan to sleep and shower in the hotel (which is what I did). Have a plan for getting back in the e
Liked: It was a pretty big room for one person, the bed was very comfortable, and they were both clean too. 10 minute walk from the stunning Parc de la Tte dOr. The shower was really nice in terms of pressure and temperature.
Disliked: Location was ok, but a bit awkward to get to after a certain time in the evenings. I was in Lyon for the Rugby World Cup, and after the match (but still before midnight) there were dedicated trams back to the city centre but had to get a cab the rest of the way, which wasnt ideal. Also, the guy at the desk during check-in was planning to charge me twice for 2 separate bookings Id made for 2 different weekends, even though Id cancelled one of the bookings 5 months in advance, well within the time allowance for a free cancellation. It was only when I showed him the email confirmation from booking.com that he was willing to forfeit it. This was clearly an issue with booking.com rather than me or the hotel but he dealt with it pretty poorly.
