I pre booked this hotel as I was going to a concert in Leeds and at £50.00 thought it was a reasonable price. On arriving I noticed the illuminated sign outside was quoting a price of £Â85.00 and thought I had made the right choice in booking early. However after seeing the very small room and basic facilities I can only assume that this hotel must be making a fortune at £Â50 let alone £Â85. As there was no parking facilities I also ended up paying £14.50 to park my car so had I paid the top price I would have spent best part of £Â100.00 BEFORE I even paid for my concert ticket. I would have sooner gone to a Premier Inn if I had to pay the extortionate price of £85 and £35-Â40 would have been the top price I would have expected to pay for this room. All in all I will not be booking this hotel again, should I need to stay in Leeds and would advise other people to think twice before using this chain of hotels. Premier Inn hotels have bigger rooms and a discounted parking scheme for using the nearby car parks. I also would not use this hotel if my wife came with me as she is disabled and would have great difficulty even trying to get into the room let alone use the toilet or shower. Having said that, I obviously do NOT know if the hotel has bigger rooms for the disabled as I did not require one.
Liked: Clean and tidy.
Disliked: Small room.

Friendly staff and comfortable, modern...
Liked: The room was quite comfortable, and it had a wonderful view to the city (8th floor). It is close to the bus station, and not too far from the centre. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The bathroom had no toilet brush, and no hand-shower. The breakfast is a bit too expensive for the selection (or lack of selection).Plugs should be next to the bed.

A disappointing stay at Ibis
Liked: The bed was comfy & check in is easy
Disliked: I’ve stayed in Ibis/Ibis budget before but this was sub par. First of all the key card to the room was dodgy so couldn’t even get into the room (other guests were also having the same problem) in terms of facilities there is not even a toilet brush, no hairdryer, not even a kettle. The tap was leaking round the base & the toilet roll holder was being hold together with black tape. It is budget however you’re still paying £90+ a night so would be nice to have the basics. Lastly, it is SO loud. The doors are so heavy & every few minutes they are being slammed shut. It’s not Ibis fault for this next bit but there were guests running down the hall, screaming, shouting etc etc during the night but luckily I had ear plugs or I would’ve had no sleep.

Basic
Liked: Had your basic needs and the bed was comfortable
Disliked: Staff clearly don't tell people to be quiet coming in. You hear absolutely everything from each room above you and side on and in the corridors. I am really not a complainer in the slightest but ALL HOURS in the night people come in screaming and running down the corridor outside banging doors! Barely slept. Yes the actual accommodation was what you would expect, clean and comfortable and would have been amazing we didn't hear every movement and sound. I do get that this is not the hotel's problem but there should be something in place to stop this. It was mainly a huge hen/ stag parties. So many various groups and all screaming and shouting and running round the place like they are kids.
