It was fine.

Liked: The room was fine, nothing special. The location was convenient with it close enough to the chempark that I could have walked to my destination and close enough to the centre that I could find food in the evening.
Disliked: The bed was not very comfortable, the room was too warm and the shower was only lukewarm. For the price I think there are better options in Leverkusen and Cologne.

Disliked: I didn’t like that the shower has a glass door open to the main bedroom, this might be okay for a romantic couple but for two travellers not in a relationship, it’s slightly awkward

Liked: The facility’s amenities were generally sufficient. Since Ibis Budget hotels are price-performance oriented, as long as you keep your expectations low, you will be satisfied. I would consider staying again.
Disliked: The day I checked into the hotel, children were running through the hallway and making a lot of noise. The next morning at 7:00 AM, the same noise from the children was even louder, waking me up from my sleep. While this isn’t directly the hotel’s fault, I wanted to mention it. It’s not right for people with children to be so irresponsible. Disrespectful parents. Additionally, I must mention an issue I had with the hotel itself. Despite the check-out time being 12:00, the housekeeping staff knocked on my door persistently at 09:30, 10:30, and 11:30, waking me up each time.

Liked: perfect for a quick stay all you need. basic but clean nice staff and a great price we were hardly there just to sleep so spot on easy to walk everywhere and ubers no problem
