Liked: The price of a room for 3 adults for the one night & the location was why we booked as we were going to a gig in the ovo hydro last gig was Terrorvision & we stayed in the novatel the desk clerk told us next time you come to Glasgow book the ibis cause they have better carpets lol he was right id like to know where to source the carpets with a the @!!& symbols i like it lol
Disliked: Iv lodged a formal complaint by email to the hotel manager as during the early hours of the morning my best friend & i were going out for a cigarette when she took a seizure in the 7th floor about 15 metres from our room her partner carried her back to the room & into bed to recover because of the her seizure she was greatly over heating & she lay on the bed in her underwear while recovering a little later quite early (i was stressed out caring for my best friend after the seizure im nit 100% sure on the time but i think maybe 7-9am) a cleaner knocked our door but didn't wait for anyone answering the door by the time i got to the door from the bed she was half way through the door into our room telling me in broken English that she wants to clean in my opinion i think its highly unprofessional to enter a guests room without concent & without knocking & waiting for a reply before entering my ill friend was in her underwear on top of the bed covers & she became distressed when the staff members opened the door & started to walk in as after taking the seizure she was ill & felt vulnerable & exposed & i find this unacceptable id also like to raise a point about staff entering rooms in this fashion say the room has been rented to a couple & the cleaner walks in while the couples having sex? How about anyone but especially women & teenage girls who could be walking out of the shower naked? Im sorry but i really don't see this as in any way acceptable & is a breach of privacy we have discussed this at length & if i was her manager i would bring disciplinary action & re train them regards company policy & the wishes of the guests to have the privacy we have paid for

Liked: Was convenient
Disliked: No plugs near bed meaning my partner couldn't use his sleep apnea machine. Never ever been to a hotel with no plugs at the bed. The floor was super slippy coming out of the wet room bathroom no mats or anything to put down, I fell as I'm disabled. The room was so cold overnight too. So didn't sleep much as cold causes me a lot of pain.
