Liked: First stay here the room faced away from busy road to the rear of the property and was upstairs felt private and was comfortable.Reception staff were lovely, well mannered, informative, accommodating and happy to help. Check out was easy and hassle free.Good value for money.
Disliked: Second time staying here the room allocated was downstairs facing the front of the property towards the busy road and didn’t feel very private. Although ear plugs were provided the room wasn’t very peaceful. The window was next to the main entrance facing the subway fast food restaurant in the carpark.The directions here aren’t very good however once found it is very easy to access.Carpark entrance has some very large and deep potholes not suitable for performance vehicles.After first stay being so pleasant I was disappointed by the dryness of the reception staff this time round and she wasn’t welcoming at all.There’s a lot to be said for service with a smile especially after a long journey.

Liked: Reception girl very pleasant and helpful. Quite good location. Good free parking. Close to garage and seconds walk to subway restaurant.
Disliked: Very dated threadbare and faded carpet, chipped old paint on woodwork, tv bad reception, just very very badly in need of updating renovation, i understand it was originally a travelodge, and hasnt been updated since buying from them. We got a good rate via booking.com, but i wouldn't have been happy if i had paid full price. Was on an industrial estate facing main carriage way. Many builders are staying there. Place badly in need of updating, complete refurb. Ground floor.Bed comfy enough. Sheets clean.Having requested a different room with a better carpet, informed all rooms were the same...not a carpet you would walk on in bare feet.
