Liked: The hotel was near the train and the center of the city, thus it was very convenient during our short stay in Caen. As we did not spend much time at the hotel and instead explored the city, the cheap price was perfect and it was nice to have a small bite to eat in the morning included with our stay.
Disliked: Though the location was convenient, as others have indicated, the tabac patrons spill onto the property and make noise all night long. The towels were more like rags, and we only got one per person. The bed was as thin as could be, as were the pillows. There was a sewage smell that came from the bathroom, like sulfur, and because the room was so small it was constantly present, even with the door to the toilet closed.

Liked: Very comfortable bed and well-designed floor space.Housekeeping was very helpful and pleasant .The front desk was friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: The very loud group of locals who seemed to congregate directly below 3rd-floor window.
