Great for visiting Bordeaux

Liked: Location to visit Bordeaux, 10 meters from the A Tram line, shops and restaurants very close by, Very cheap parking!
Disliked: Nil

Next door is much better...

Liked: The location was very good for me, because I had business very close by. But besides that this was not a very good experience. The staff was nice and helpful, but my room was not really a room.
Disliked: This is not really a hotel. I know that it has only two stars, but even for that this was weird. Toilet is basically a plastic box, shover the same. The bathroom is in the room, there is no separate bathroom.

Liked: Location, breakfast and this is the most comfortable bed I have experienced in a hotel.
Disliked: When we arrived late at night (as I had previously indicated), the room window was open, and the temperature inside was around 10-15 degrees Celsius. I tried to adjust the air conditioning, but the control was centralized, and heating was not allowed on the air conditioning unit (at the end of October)!!!I informed the night receptionist, who seemed helpful, and he said he would adjust the temperature, but he didn't. However, with the window closed, the room was only 19-20 degrees Celsius in the morning, which was still cold for us. I went down to ask three more times before they allowed heating in our room, one day after our arrival... but even then, we were not allowed to control the air conditioning, it operated with a single preset setting.It took an entire day before we could heat the room; before that, there was nothing!After that, only the energy-saving mode was operating, which heated extremely slowly.The cleaning lady comes in to make the bed every day (which is fundamentally positive), but we didn't know this, so on the first day, none of our clothes were cleared from the bed. When we returned, all our clothes were stuffed under the bed, and several of our medications were missing (probably thrown away).The walls are very thin, and you can hear everything from the street and other rooms.Breakfast is often incomplete, so if you want a variety, it's best to get up early.Overall, if I hadn't had the problem with the heating, I wouldn't give a bad review of the hotel. The price reflects what it offers.
