Liked: Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Well located for Biarritz.
Disliked: Room smelled of stale cigar smoke from arrival. Shower essentially in bedroom similarly for toilet and wash hand basin which adversely compromises privacy.

Convenient for airport and onward...

Liked: Proximity to Biarritz Airport if arriving on a late flight or leaving on an early one. Easy to get around (St Jean de Luz, Bayonne..) on public transport with main bus stop very close to the hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Disliked: The hotel was absolutely fine but there is a lot of construction work on the road right infront of it (tramway line construction). Note that you can't walk to the hotel from the airport, despite it being close and even if you're a good walker. The main road is too dangerous and there's no pavement (an uber costs about 12 euros).
