Good position but I've stayed...
Liked: Position
Disliked: Tired shower fittings that wouldn't stay in place. Bathroom not particularly clean. Decor shabby

Comfortable but standards have dropped
Liked: very good location
Disliked: Had stayed here before and standard has fallen. Novotel opposite seems to have been prioritised.A lot of mould around windows. Very poor storage space for clothes. Lights flickered in bathroom. and after reporting 3 times told they had no replacement bulbs. Not good enough.

Good location for walking into...
Liked: Location and the fact that parking is next door. Comfy beds
Disliked: Building is very tired and in need of refurb. The place is basically a dormitory as you have to go across the square to the Novotel to book in, eat or drink. There is no bar, cafe or restaurant in the actual Ibis.

Overpriced and underwhelming
Liked: Nice breakfast but had to go to Novotel for it. Nothing in the Ibis at all. Location is great too
Disliked: Not sure what’s happening with the hotel. Reception closed - had to check in at Novotel. No bar or food in the hotel. Rooms very dated and nothing provided. Very expensive and would not recommend

I have stayed at this...
Disliked: No notification prior to visit that the hotel reception and all its facilities and staff were not available and the Novotel was to used as an alternative, the hotel had basically been mothballed. A hotel having no facilities or staff is in my opinion unacceptable considering the cost of the hotel for two nights stay.

Crap
Liked: I booked out. Enough said
Disliked: As a disabled room itg was not siutable. The bed was up against a wall making it difficult to get out for one guest. The lighting was poor. Needed to go aros the sqaure to book ing. It was on the hotel internet but not on Boooking.com.It was to far out of town for my disabled wife and it was lucky the she did not need a wheelchaire as she would not have got it alongside the bed. The Television was out od order for al days but the first. There were people working in the hotel that on one occassion knocked and imediatly let themslves into our room. This was the worst room I have ever had since i started going to Brugge when I was 8 and I' m71 now!! I do not agree that it was a disabled room at all exxcept for the bathroom which had the assitance drop down next to the toilet not firmly attached and part of the grouting in the shower looking like it contained blood, poo or somthing else in it. Never ever will I stay here again!!!!!

Just about passable
Liked: Location was good
Disliked: Grubby small room, broken socket on wall for plug, grout was black in bathroom and staff weren’t that helpful

Great location and cleaning staff....
Liked: Very good location and the cleaning staff made the bed and changed the towels everyday.
Disliked: Aircon didn’t work, lights were faulty and flickered, leak in the bathroom, had to check in at another hotel across the street, there was construction work going on in the rooms around us at early hours in the morning, disappointed considering the high price we had to pay to stay at the Ibis.

Very good
Liked: We enjoyed the location of the hotel which is in easy walking distance to the city centre of Brugge, the nearby restaurants, bars, shops and museums. Due to refurbishment work we had use the Novotel hotel facilities for breakfast and restaurant and bar services.
Disliked: Sadly the hotel is going through a full refurbished (starting December 2024) bar or restaurant aren’t open, we advise booking the Novotel Hotel that is opposite until the Ibis reopens spring 2025.
