Disliked: Staff entered room at 10am during middle of stay when in the bathroom.Left covered in mosquito bits. Was promised an extra plug in repellant which didn’t arrive.Door key repeatedly stopped working and had to go over to Novotel and queue for too long to get it fixed.No reception.Room was cleared on 2nd night of stay.Expensive breakfast option.

Black mildew flourishing in bathrooms.

Liked: Good location, 1km from centre. Hotel satisfied very basic needs. Major hotel improvements needed. staff in hotel were friendly.
Disliked: Hotel room needs a deep clean, bathroom especially. Black mildew growing on the wallpaper walls, and on ceiling of both rooms we booked for our trip. We are now sick with chesty coughs because of it. no extractor fan. Silicon needs redoing along bath & tiles, and dirt to be cleaned out. No hairdryer. Rooms are not sound proof either. I would not recommend because of this.

Liked: Good location
Disliked: We booked two rooms, both were infested with mosquitos. Myself and my friends have some really nasty bites, which are taking a long time to heal. I messaged the hotel after asking for a refund and they declined. They stated this is a known issue, and mosquito repellent is in every room, this wasn't true for our room. And I'd ask the question, if you knew you had this issue, why not give us prior warning? Do not stay at this hotel unless you want to risk some really nasty bites.!

Bruge was nice, hotel bargain...

Liked: The location was fine, About 7 minutes walk to the main square and approx €13 from the train station
Disliked: Heating was on full when we got in the room and totally unbearable. Had to find someone to turn the radiator off. The aircon wasnt working so had to open the window. Got bitten so many times by midges that were in the room
