The Ibis Temple Meads is a great budget hotel if you have tickets for a gig at The Marble Factory. It's within walking distance. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable and staff are friendly and efficient.

Disliked: Bathroom was weird. Shower makes the whole toilet wet. No carpet in the room. Kitchen lino and power only runs from the main light so you can have a lamp on. Absolutely ridiculous.

Disliked: staff rude location not near much for food or entertainment having to pay a security deposit for damage or other stuff in other ibis hotels i have visited I have never been asked for this .which I find unacceptable due to being a solo traveller and only staying one night if I was part of a large group or on a weekend of binge drinking I would have paid it as that to me is what a security deposit is for beds uncomfortablelack or blackout blinds with bright lights from building opposite bathroom small with lack of space
